My name is Katherine Bartig. I am a recent graduate from Iowa State University majoring in Art and Design.

I have always been passionate about nature and art. Growing up in a small town in northern Wisconsin, I had plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature. My family also made the beaches of Florida a second home as our favorite vacation destination. I have also been immersed in music, art, and theatre for my entire life. It wasn’t until I got to Iowa State University that I realized I could apply my love of nature and art to my area of study. Without knowing it, I had been preparing my entire life for a major in Art, Design, and Illustration.
